Following are positive things central govt has done in India in last decade. No state government should take entire credit For This!

8) Goods and Services Tax

9) Direct Tax Code

10) Indira Awaas Yojana(IAY), Rajiv Awaas Yojana(RAY)

11) Pradhan Mantri Gram Sadak Yojna – PMGSY

12) Rashtriya Swasthya Bima Yojana – RSBY – Health

13) Sarva Shiksha Abhyan – setting up 6000 model schools in India, Mid Day Meal (MDM) schemes

14) NREGS – National Rural Employment Gurantee Scheme  : 100 days of work at Rs. 100 a day for everyone. MNREGA to index wage rate as per CPI index

15) Eligibility for pension under Indira Gandhi National Old Age Pension Scheme for BPL beneficiaries reduced from 65 years of age to 60 years. Those above 80 years of age will get pension of Rs 500 per month instead of Rs 200 at present.

16) National Food Security Bill – will be introduced in parliament this year.

17)Rashtriya Krishi Vikas Yojana (RKVY)

18) Unique Identification Authority of India (UIDAI) – From 1st October, 2011 10 lakh Aadhaar numbers will be generated per day.

19) The monthly remuneration for frontline service providers of Integrated Child Development Services (ICDS) scheme, namely the Anganwadi Workers (AWWs) and Anganwadi Helpers (AWHs) has been doubled to Rs. 3000 and Rs. 1500 respectively
